difference between DBMS and RDBMS

There are mainly 3 differences between DBMS and RDBMS that is given below:

1. A DBMS has to provide some uniform methods for accessing the information that is stored while RDBMS adds the additional condition that the system supports a tabular structure of the data with relationship between the tables.

2. DBMS does not apply any security with regard to data manipulation while RDBMS defines the integrity constraint for the purpose of holding ACID property.

3. Examples of DBMS are File Systems, XML etc. whereas examples of RDBMS are MySQL, PostGre, SQL Server, Oracle etc.
